What happens when I sign up?

• Your information is never sold or shared outside this group, and even then, only with your permission.

• You should receive an email acknowledgement of your sign-up within 24 hours. Please be patient as this is a 100% volunteer effort.

• The facilitators of the meetings (Donna and Carol) will organize members by zip code to enable geographical connections to others near you. Your name will not be shared, only your general area.

• We organize in-person get-togethers, (or YOU can organize your own events) sometimes in someone's home, or perhaps meeting at a restaurant for lunch or dinne, or at another venue in the future (we are working on this).

• We prefer to keep meetings small so everyone can participate... we are thinking 6-8 members per meeting to start out. This could change in the future as we fine-tune our efforts and learn from experience.

• When we arrange a meeting in your area, we will email the details (by "bcc" to keep things private). Please respond to the email if you plan to attend so we can determine group size, maybe bring snacks, etc. and notify you in case of any last minute changes.

• We will be adding a BLOG to this website at some point (hopefully soon) so we have a place to discuss online.

• Question: Does this cost anything to join? Answer: No, this is a volunteer effort and we are paying for the website (we have our own website designer... and estranged mother & grandmother) and we are. doing this just because we could probably all benefit from some in-person support sometimes.

• Question: If I sign up, am I obligated to participate? Answer: No, it just gives you options. If someone has planned an event near you, we can let you know. Then you can decide to attend or not. No pressure at all.
